A fancy French word for we sell your stuff and share the proceeds with you.  To us, that represents a partnership. This is a notion we embrace. We provide a fun, friendly, fantastic retail venue to turn couches into cash and dressers into dollars. We provide a fast, convenient, safe and professional promotion for your treasures.

Each consignment is a partnership and we want to price all items at fair market value so we can sell it quickly for you! Used furniture does not command the same prices as new furniture found in a retail showroom. Do not expect to recoup what you originally paid for your items.

How does it work: See it to believe it. All Items must be pre-approved, and drop offs must be scheduled in advance .

Values are based on condition, quality of construction, manufacturer, original price, style, and current demand for this gem. Pricing provided may be lowered in the future from what was quoted and items may be rejected if hidden or unforeseen damages are discovered. Furniture and decor must come from a non-smoking environment.

Take in Hours: Please send photos first and confirm your plans for delivering items in advance. We typically are available to check these things out or take them in from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. We do not take items in on Sunday. Other days and times by special arrangement only.

Pick Up: 

After purchase, you have 48 hours to pick up your items. If items are not picked up within 48 hours, we reserve the right to resell your purchased items. 

Delivery / Pick Up:

The consignor shall be solely responsible for the cost of delivering the item(s) to the store. All risk of loss or damage to the item(s) while those are in transit remains with the consignor & delivery company. lf you are delivering or picking up items please bring help, necessary blankets and tie downs. 

Furn can pick up and deliver furnishings in Broomfield. If the service requires a moving truck the fee will be $150. If outside of Broomfield city limits, please call and ask about the charge for pick up in your area. Our delivery and pick up charges range from $75 to $150 within 5 miles of Furn Consignment.

We will deliver and pick up pieces to your garage or out front of your home/condo building ONLY.   We do not enter homes, condos, apartments or buildings for liability reasons.

Please empty and wipe out all drawers, dust all wood furniture, end tables, vacuum under cushions, etc. Rugs must be clean and vacuumed. Your items must be clean and ready to sell! If your items are not in sell-able condition, we have the right to lower the starting price or donate it, or charge a cleaning fee ($20 minimum).

How Consignment Works:

 

Once items are consigned, consignors are given their own ID# and instructions for accessing their own personal account. Consignors can keep track of each and every item they have with us and see when it sells. Transparency for our consignors is very important!

We pay consignor partners 50% of the selling price for merchandise sold. Payment to consignors is on the 15th of each month for the previous month’s sales. We pay out consignors’ funds by direct deposit.

Our contract term for merchandise is 60 days. During the 60-day consignment period, merchandise will be marked down as follows: 15% after 15 days, 30% after 30 days, and 50% after 50 days. Consignors have the right to pick up their items at any time. It is theirs until it sells. If the consignor does not want their item(s) to drop in price, it is the consignor’s responsibility to pick it up. After the 60-day contract has expired the consignor has 14 business days to reclaim their unsold merchandise. Unsold items that are no longer wanted by the consignor will be donated to a local non-profit or to a family in need.

Give Back To The Community

Often individuals just want to get rid of furniture they are no longer using. Furn offers the option to place their items into a non-profit account. When the consigned furniture sells, we send a check to the non-profit organization of the consignors choice. A check for 50% of the selling price, along with a donation letter, will be mailed to the non-profit on behalf of the consignor. A copy of the donation letter will be emailed promptly to the consignor for tax purposes.

What to Leave in & What to Leave Out

We may decline a consignment due to our current inventory levels, poor condition, specific style, or the asking price. Another reason may be that it’s not an item our customers have requested. Please do not take it personally if we are unable to consign your items. We do wish we had space for every excellent piece of furniture.

Take Note:

  • Solid wood construction is always preferred, although some veneered items may be accepted on a case-by-case basis

  • No large scratches or water stains on wood furniture

  • Doors and drawers must operate smoothly with no broken or missing hardware/pieces

  • Upholstery must be absolutely clean, odor-free and no pet hair

  • No tears, visible stains or sun-faded areas

  • Furniture from non-smoking homes only.

Make sure your items are ready to sell! We would greatly appreciate you taking the time to touch up or clean your items before we pick them up or you drop them off.

Furn does not fix broken or damaged items

  • Luggage

Terms & Conditions

 

Before you Consign:

  1. All items must be pre-approved with a photo and details.

  2. Furn cannot guarantee acceptance of items if not pre-approved, or if the condition does not meet our standards. We reserve the right to refuse items for any reason.

  3. Items must be in good condition.

  4. All furniture must be clean, undamaged, no stains, no rips, no missing parts, discolorations, free of pet hair, odor and smoke free.

  5. lf items require cleaning, Furn will charge a cleaning fee of $20 per hour.
